The Story Behind Our Newsletters

2002: Health Center Orgins

The Eagle Village Health Centre staff began publishing health information to share essential resources with local community members. In February 2003, Chief and Council expanded the publication into "Migizy Odenaw Mazinaigan," our comprehensive community newsletter covering all departments.

Reaching All Members

Leadership decided to mail copies to all band members regardless of location - whether on reserve, in different provinces, or even different countries.

Ongoing Evolution

Today, the newsletter continues to serve as a vital communication tool, preserving our community's history and connecting members across distances.
